Cancellation Policy

 Chore Buddy's rescheduling & cancellation policy for on-site projects is as follows:

Customers always have the option to simply reschedule a confirmed appointment to a future date in the event circumstances beyond their control arise.
i. If your confirmed appointment is rescheduled up to 3 hours prior to the appointment start time, no rescheduling charge will apply.
ii. If your appointment is rescheduled within 3 hours of the appointment start time a last-minute rescheduling fee of $10 may apply.
Iii. If nobody is home to receive us on the day/time of the scheduled appointment window and we are unable to complete the service, you may be subject to a $45 no-show fee.

Customers may cancel a scheduled on-site service appointment at their own discretion at any time, subject to the following conditions:
i. If you cancel a service order more than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment window, no cancellation fee applies.
ii. If you cancel a service order between 2-24 hours before a scheduled appointment window for reasons solely attributable to you* and not us, you may be charged a $25.00 cancellation fee.
iii. If you cancel a service order less than 2 hours before a scheduled service appointment for reasons solely attributable to you* and not us, you may be charged a $45 cancellation fee.

*cases in point: you changed your mind; you decided to do it yourself; the item is not the right item.
