FAQs

1. Will I be able to schedule my order before paying?

Yes. After the order is placed in your shopping cart, you will proceed to checkout. It is there you will be asked for your scheduling preferences. Your card will only be authorized, not charged, upon checkout. You will be contacted by the service provider within 2 business days to confirm your appointment (based upon the preferences you specified at the time of booking).

2. Who do I contact if I have questions about an order?

Once your order has been assigned to a provider, all future contact about the project will be between you and them. You will be provided with a contact number to reach them in the event you have any questions, comments or concerns once the appointment has been confirmed.

3. Can I make changes to my appointment?

Absolutely. However, there are limitations regarding cancellations. See the 'Cancellation Policy' for more details.

4. Is there a warranty?
Yes. If your're not totally satisfied with the buddy/buddies who completed your project, let us know and we'll make it right at no extra charge!1. How are projects priced?

The price you see advertised online is a fixed-price quote for do-it-for-me projects...it's the price you will pay...these are not estimates. Projects may also include add-on services such as moving boxes or anchoring items so be sure to go through your project in detail before booking a buddy. Some limitations apply (such as product selected on-line not matching what's actually on-site), but those can be reviewed in our terms of service section.  

5. Is service available in my area?

Buddies are available in all major metropolitan markets.  See the COVERAGE AREAS section for more details.

6. How does billing work?

Your credit card will be authorized for the full price of the project(s) at check-out once the order has been PLACED. All charges are applied to the credit card on file once your project has been confirmed by the service provider.  Please review our cancellation policy available online.

7. Who are the buddies sent to complete the project? 

We only partner with established large nationwide providers with a proven track record of performance and reliability. Please see the 'About Our Buddies' page for more details.

8. Have the local buddies been fully vetted?

Yes. We require full background checks and ensure that whoever is sent to your home or office is skilled in the do-it-for-me project to be completed.

9.  What are your hours of operation?

Monday-Saturday, 7am to 7pm PST
