All Reqests For Service Are Initiated Online

Get a No-Haggle Quote Online*

On each Quote page, you will see a specific price for your project. The price for the service depends on your location and the options and/or ADD-ONs you select. The price you see quoted on the service details page is not an estimate. It's a firm, no-haggle quote. And reviews from other customers who have used this particular service from HandyBuddy are displayed right on every quote page!

*Note that agents are unable to provide quotes in chat or over phone.  In addition, you must submit a request online as agents cannot take requests over the phone either.

Choose a Scheduling Preference

Click the calendar widget right below the quote. The first available date will be first date you can select. This is the date that will be shared with the provider. They will contact you to confirm your actual appointment date.

Click HIRE AN EXPERT >

After you got your quote and have chosen a scheduling preference (step 2), you can get matched with a certified local expert for the service in question by clicking the HIRE AN EXPERT > button.

Verify Your Request & Book Online

Lastly, verify details of your request. The final step online is to click the BOOK NOW button on Request Summary page to submit your request. Don't forget to finalize your request by filling out all of your service details, including your name, address and contact info on the last page of the process. Click SUBMIT and you're done with the submission.

And unlike those other "on-demand" platforms, we aren't a lead-generation service - no estimates; no back and forth with questions about your project. Just submit a request and go.  


We'll Get You Matched and Get It Done

Get Matched

Once a request has been submitted online, the HandyBuddy Service Desk gets to work. They'll search our extensive Expert Marketplace database of approved preferred providers and match you with top-rated and certified local experts.  Matching is done based on your location, skills required, your scheduling preference and availability of the local provider.

Get Connected

Once the local provider accepts the match, we'll share their contact information with you via a feature rich landing page on our Expert Marketplace which includes the company name, their email address, phone number, hours of operation as well as recent reviews of their work. This give you, the customer, full transparency regarding the match and you can reach out to them at any time to discuss the specifics of your request.

Stay Informed

You will also receive regular email/SMS updates (depending upon your communication preferences) throughout the fulfillment process letting you know when your appointment has been confirmed and any other issues requiring your attention. In addition, you will be able to login to your HandyBuddy account at any time to track the status of your request.

Provide Feedback and Pay

When the job is done, we'll text you (depending upon your communication preferences) and email you asking if the service has been completed to your satisfaction. If not, the provider will return to address any outstanding issues. Payment due will be the exact amount quoted when you placed the request (assuming no changes in scope). The provider isn't paid unless/until we know you are 100% satisfied with the service performed.
